Nemi Hotel has joined Tribute Portfolio in Milan, strengthening Marriott’s upper-upscale presence in the Italian market. As a result, the Tribute brand now operates its second property in the city. Moreover, Opera Hotels manages the five-star hotel, which opened last year after the repositioning of the former Fifty House Cellini.
The property entered the market following a €22.05 million auction sale completed in 2024. Today, Nemi Hotel offers 49 rooms and suites, including Terrace Suites with private outdoor areas and Milano Suites overlooking the city skyline. In addition, the hotel features an intimate open-air courtyard connected to the Forte Garden restaurant and lounge bar.
According to Opera Hotels, the partnership with Marriott supports stronger international visibility and commercial growth. Furthermore, the agreement allows the company to access Marriott’s global distribution channels and loyalty programs while preserving the hotel’s independent identity. Therefore, the collaboration creates new opportunities to attract a broader luxury clientele.
Nemi Hotel also reflects Opera Hotels’ wider expansion strategy in Italy. Besides managing the Cala Beach Resort in Punta Ala, the group plans to open another property in Puglia by summer 2027. At the same time, Tribute Portfolio continues to expand rapidly across the country.
Before adding Nemi Hotel, the brand operated six Italian properties with almost 600 rooms across Milan, Rome, Siena, and Polignano a Mare. However, the development pipeline now includes seven additional openings. Future projects involve destinations such as Cortina, Turin, Verona, Lecco, and Rome. Consequently, Marriott continues to strengthen its lifestyle hospitality portfolio throughout Italy’s major leisure and urban destinations.
