BWH Southern Italy expansion continues to gain momentum as the hospitality group adds two new properties in Campania and Puglia. Through these additions, BWH further strengthens its presence in one of Italy’s most dynamic tourism regions. Moreover, the latest openings highlight the group’s strategy of expanding its network through quality independent hotels. As a result, travelers can access a wider range of accommodation options across Southern Italy while benefiting from the standards and visibility of an international brand.
The expansion includes the Sure Hotel Sakura in Torre del Greco, near Naples, and a new affiliated property in Lucera, Puglia. The Lucera hotel entered a new phase in January 2025 when Nonsolomare signed a long-term lease agreement. Consequently, the operator expanded its workforce and expects annual revenue exceeding €2.5 million. In addition, projected operating margins indicate strong business potential for the property. These developments demonstrate growing confidence in hospitality investments across secondary destinations that continue to attract leisure and business demand.
Meanwhile, BWH Southern Italy expansion has strengthened the group’s position in Campania. Thanks to the addition of the Sure Hotel Sakura, the regional portfolio now includes 14 properties with more than 700 rooms. The four-star hotel offers 39 guestrooms and welcomes pets, an increasingly important feature for modern travelers. Furthermore, the property benefits from a strategic location just 20 kilometers from Naples International Airport. Guests can also enjoy a restaurant, event facilities, and extensive parking capacity. In addition, the conference center includes five meeting rooms suitable for corporate events and business gatherings.
According to owner Corrado Sorbo, joining BWH represents a significant milestone for the future development of the hotel. At the same time, the partnership provides access to broader distribution channels and enhanced market visibility. Therefore, BWH Southern Italy expansion not only supports individual hotel growth but also reinforces the group’s long-term commitment to the Italian hospitality market.
