Naples station hotel project is moving forward as FS Sistemi Urbani seeks an operator for a new four-star property near Naples Central Station. The company has opened a call for expressions of interest for a long-term lease valued at €3 million per year plus VAT. Moreover, the initiative forms part of a broader urban regeneration strategy focused on one of Italy’s busiest transport hubs. The future hotel will occupy the upper floors of Palazzo Alto, a tower owned by the Ferrovie dello Stato group. As a result, the project aims to strengthen Naples’ hospitality offering while supporting the city’s growing tourism sector.

The development includes 190 guestrooms located between the eighth and eighteenth floors of the building. In addition, guests will enjoy access to a panoramic rooftop terrace overlooking the city. FS Sistemi Urbani plans to invest approximately €7 million in the conversion works. Construction should begin shortly after the operator selection process concludes. Furthermore, the company expects to complete the project within 600 days. The target opening date is December 2026, although developers hope to welcome guests before the America’s Cup in 2027.

Naples Central Station handles around 90 million passengers annually and ranks among Italy’s busiest transport gateways.
