QC Treviso will open at the end of summer following the redevelopment of the former Relais Monaco Country Hotel & Spa in Ponzano Veneto. Thanks to a €16 million co-investment between QC Spa of Wonders and the property ownership linked to the Benetton group, the resort now aims to enter the premium wellness hospitality segment.
Previously operating as a four-star hotel with 79 rooms, the property will relaunch with around 60 accommodations. Moreover, the renovation focuses strongly on wellness experiences and nature-oriented hospitality. The expanded spa will cover 4,000 square meters and include new thermal pools together with a natural lake. As a result, guests will enjoy a more exclusive and immersive environment.
In addition, the resort stands inside a protected 27,000-square-meter park safeguarded by Italy’s cultural heritage authorities. Therefore, the project combines wellness tourism with environmental and architectural preservation. The natural setting also strengthens the property’s appeal for travelers seeking relaxation and privacy near Treviso.
At the same time, the opening reflects the continued growth of the luxury wellness market in Italy. Travelers increasingly look for destinations that combine high-end services, outdoor experiences, and sustainable hospitality concepts. Consequently, QC Treviso positions itself as a strategic investment in a rapidly expanding tourism niche.
The project also highlights QC Spa of Wonders’ ambition to strengthen its presence across Italy through distinctive wellness resorts. Furthermore, the redevelopment transforms a historic hospitality asset into a modern destination focused on experiential travel. With fewer rooms and larger wellness areas, QC Treviso aims to attract guests searching for premium spa experiences and refined comfort in the Veneto region.
