Tribe Milan Linate will be Amapa’s second Italian hotel under the Tribe brand, following the operator’s debut at Milan Malpensa in 2024. The new 4-star property is currently under development in Segrate, near Milan Linate Airport, and will strengthen the presence of the Accor brand in the Milan area.

Foruminvest Italia, the Italian subsidiary of Dutch real estate developer Foruminvest, is developing the hotel. In July, the company acquired an area of more than 11,000 sqm from automotive dealer Ambrostore. The site will host a 279-room hotel, alongside a range of facilities targeting both business and leisure guests.

In particular, the property will include MICE facilities for more than 250 people, a coworking area, a restaurant and a fitness centre. Furthermore, guests will have access to a rooftop swimming pool and a car park with around 140 spaces. The project also follows nZEB construction standards and targets LEED Gold certification.

Construction has already started, while the opening is scheduled for the first quarter of 2028. Meanwhile, Amapa will operate the hotel under a long-term lease agreement. The Roman hotel operator already manages the Tribe at Milan Malpensa, which Foruminvest developed before selling it to French institutional investor Corum Asset Management in late 2024.

The Tribe Milan Linate project therefore expands Amapa’s portfolio while consolidating Foruminvest’s presence in the Italian airport hospitality sector. The operator currently manages 28 hotels across Italy and Switzerland, including several white-label properties operated in partnership with Accor, Hilton and Marriott.

Finally, Foruminvest appointed Fortvny as its advisor during the operator selection process. Solving provided legal assistance for the lease agreement, while Ashurst Perkins Coie advised on the construction agreement. Group Bd is handling architectural design and technical management, with Rizoma Architetture responsible for the interior design.
