Wyndham launches new upper upscale Dolce Nova brand

Dolce Nova marks Wyndham Hotels & Resorts’ new upper-upscale lifestyle brand, developed by the group’s EMEA team as an evolution of the existing Dolce concept. The new brand draws on the Italian philosophy of “dolce far niente” and targets the growing demand for experience-led hospitality.

While the existing Dolce brand will continue to focus on meetings, events and resorts, Dolce Nova will place greater emphasis on lifestyle, wellness and local experiences. Therefore, the concept aims to offer a more destination-focused hospitality proposition for today’s experiential traveller.

The new brand will combine an upper-upscale positioning with a strong sense of place. Properties will incorporate local characteristics into their design and guest experience, while wellness will represent another key component of the offer. This approach will allow hotels to connect more closely with their surrounding destinations.

Furthermore, Wyndham has designed the concept to support both conversions and new-build projects. The company has already entered discussions for potential developments in the EMEA region. However, Wyndham has not yet disclosed the properties or destinations involved.

The launch also reflects the growing role of Wyndham’s EMEA division in the group’s brand development strategy. According to EMEA President Dimitris Manikis, the initiative represents a notable development because Wyndham acquired 20 of its current 25 brands.

Today, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts operates approximately 8,400 properties across 100 countries. In Italy, the group has eight operating hotels, with more than 900 rooms across Sicily, Lombardy, Campania, Veneto and Tuscany.

As a result, Dolce Nova could provide Wyndham with an additional platform to expand its upper-upscale presence in Europe. The combination of lifestyle, wellness and local identity also positions the concept for a broad range of urban, leisure and resort destinations.
