The closed-end real estate fund BDF, managed by Namira SGR, has recently completed the acquisition, from the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group, of the Campasso di Nervia area, in Ventimiglia.

The acquisition of the area (​​approximately 42,000 square meters) follows the tender launched by FS Sistemi Urbani (Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group) on November 2, 2020, and the signing of a preliminary agreement, signed by BDF the last December.

Borgo del Forte Campus will be built in the Nervia area, an international campus with a public park, 6 tennis courts, an Olympic swimming pool, an international school with an adjoining dormitory for teachers, students and athletes and an area for events, in addition to the redevelopment of the existing warehouses (with mixed functions).

The operation is part of a larger Marina di Ventimiglia urban regeneration project for the creation of a new center for tourist/accommodation on the waterfront.

The project will be developed on a total area of ​​about 60,000 square meters and will undergo a series of interventions: Borgo del Forte will rise on the waterfront area on the new tourist port, where a high-end hotel and 130 luxury apartments will be built, 60 of which are managed by the hotel management; La Rocca restaurant will be built west of the residential-hotel complex; Club Italia, in Piazza del Costituente envisages the transformation of the “former ACI” building.
