Atalante Hotels debuts in Italy

Atalante Hotels is a French hotel chain, whose portfolio consists of 19 hotels, for a total of over 1,400 rooms. The group’s business model is based on the acquisition and management of independent hotels with an international brand, most of which are located in France and Belgium. However, the chain’s expansion plans include all of Europe. In fact, in 2023 the debut is expected in Italy, in the city of Alba, in Piedmont, a famous gastronomic and tourist destination, with a strong international clientele. The group has in fact recently signed for its first hotel in Italy, the Hotel Savona, 4-star with 92 keys, which will be renovated and reopened, according to rumors, under the Accor’s brand, Mercure.

The hotel will be the first 4-star hotel in the area with an international brand. With this operation, Atalante Hotels creates Atalante Hotels Italia, which will have as its development strategy, the acquisition and management of 3 and 4 star hotels in the main tourist resorts of Italy, accompanying development in the area, with international brands. The Mercure brand represents approx. 42% of the Accor portfolio in Italy. We recall the recent opening of the Hotel President in Lecce (4-star with 150 keys) under Greenblu Hotels & Resorts, which had taken over the management of the hotel in May 2021.
