The W brand in Italy has planned new openings for 2024. After the announcement of W Florence (Ex Grand Hotel Majestic) in Florence, Marriott’s group brand confirms the opening of W Milan in Milan and plans to debut in Naples as well. In particular, the W Milan Duomo is one of the two properties of the Marseglia Group. Furthermore, the Milanese W will be developed with the repositioning and rebranding of Palazzo Matteotti and will have 166 keys, including 36 suites, a rooftop bar, a restaurant, a gym and an equipped spa.
In addition to Milan, the W brand will also debut in Naples, marking one of the new 5-star openings in the locality. The structure, with 78 keys (including 17 suites), was developed by the real estate developer Achille D’Avanzo, CEO of Solido Holding. The property will also have a restaurant and fitness facilities. The square of Naples is experiencing a phase of particular dynamism. In particular, the new 5-star in Palazzo Sirignano that will have 100 keys and further branded openings. In addition there is the development of a new lifestyle hotel with the conversion of the former headquarters of “Il Mattino” in Via Chiatamone 65. In this case, the asset will be branded with a lifestyle brand of a leading international group. The brand in question is not yet presented in Italy.
