Garibaldi Hotels Expands in Calabria with Two New Properties

Garibaldi Hotels expands in Calabria with the Mediterraneo Palace and Arcomagno Village, strengthening its presence in the Italian hospitality market. The group, headquartered in Ostuni, also reported strong financial results in 2025, with revenue rising by 16% to €25 million. This compares with €21.5 million in 2024 and just €7.5 million in 2017.

Garibaldi Hotels operates through its parent company, Garibaldi Hotels Srl, jointly owned by chairman Egidio Ventimiglia and CEO Fabrizio Prete. Its business includes hotel and resort management, service outsourcing and real estate activities.

The group currently manages 19 properties across Italy, ranging from two- to four-star accommodation. Its portfolio covers Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicily, Umbria, Sardinia, Trentino-Alto Adige and Lazio, with almost 1,100 rooms. Most properties operate under lease agreements. However, the group also owns three hotels: Avalon Sikani Resort in Gioiosa Marea, Sicily, and Piaz and Monzoni in Trentino. In addition, it manages Masseria Monet, a nine-room property in Monopoli. Garibaldi Hotels also operates as a white-label company for Hilton Garden Inn Lecce and Best Western Plus Dimora del Monaco in Matera.

Growth continued into the 2026 summer season. By 31 August, revenue had increased by 18% compared with the same period in 2025. Meanwhile, the average daily rate rose by 5%.

Sardinia recorded the strongest performance among the group’s seaside destinations, supported by international guests, who accounted for approximately 85% of demand. Puglia also grew by around 11%, benefiting partly from new additions to the portfolio, including GH Rodi and Masseria Monet. Mountain destinations delivered positive results as well. The group’s three properties in Trentino recorded growth of 25%.

Garibaldi Hotels expands in Calabria against a backdrop of rising revenues and improved operating performance. The group’s results point to continued growth across both coastal and mountain destinations in Italy.
