Savoia & Jolanda Venice will reopen next summer following a comprehensive renovation that lasted around 18 months. The redevelopment reflects the owner’s decision to align the property with higher hospitality standards and evolving guest expectations. Located in the heart of Venice, the hotel now enters a new phase with a refreshed identity and an upgraded guest experience.
The Rado family carried out an extensive transformation across the entire property. As a result, the project upgraded technical systems, guest rooms, bathrooms, lighting, interiors, and service areas. Today, the hotel positions itself as a lifestyle-oriented four-star superior property with 45 rooms. In addition, it remains affiliated with the WorldHotels Elite collection, reinforcing its appeal to international travelers.
The renovation comes after a period of mixed operating results. Although accommodation revenue increased by 9.2% in 2024, food and beverage sales declined significantly during the same period. Nevertheless, lower direct costs helped limit losses and maintain positive operating margins. Therefore, management viewed the investment as an opportunity to strengthen the hotel’s competitive position in the Venetian market.
A key addition is the new Sebastian Café, a hospitality concept already established in Milan. The Venice location brings the brand’s contemporary Mediterranean cuisine to a unique lagoon setting. Moreover, the venue aims to attract both hotel guests and local visitors through its distinctive atmosphere and culinary offering.
With its renewed design and enhanced services, Savoia & Jolanda Venice seeks to capture demand from travelers looking for a modern lifestyle experience in one of Italy’s most iconic destinations. Furthermore, the reopening marks an important milestone for the ownership group. Through this investment, Savoia & Jolanda Venice reinforces its long-term commitment to quality, positioning the hotel for future growth in Venice’s highly competitive hospitality sector.
