A new five-star hotel will be developed in Lecco through the conversion of the former Deutsche Bank building. The project, led by 753 Hospitality, will create a 144-room Tribute Portfolio hotel, part of Marriott International.

The renovation will transform the historic Palazzo Bovara into a lifestyle hotel with a restaurant, bar, gym, conference center, and rooftop pool. Construction is expected to start soon and the hotel should open in spring 2028.

The project also includes the redevelopment of the surrounding Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi area, with improvements to public spaces and urban design. The hotel is expected to attract 70–80% international guests.
