Following its strategic drive to innovate and improve the conference experience, ITHIC Advisory Board has decided to introduce a new format starting from the Milan edition 2026: the Roundtable Series. This new format, powered by Questex Hospitality, will provide all attendees the opportunity to be active contributors and, at the same time, share knowledge and solutions with top players in their respective fields. Giorgio Ribaudo, Head of the Advisory Board introduces this new format “Contributing to a specific restricted roundtable is the perfect way to be both part of the game and spotlight your solutions on cutting-edge topics. These roundtables series are organized by subject matter. Each is open to just 15-20 attendees who need to subscribe in advance”.
Each roundtable has a chair (main contributor, hosting the roundtable) and a co-chair (moderator, most often an analyst or a qualified journalist) who are subject matter experts and who will provide a clear pattern for the discussion to land on key results, evidence and ideas. “Every attendee has the right to take the floor and actively contribute with his/her own experience, data, ideas. In the end, we expect this new format will attract much contributors as real roundtables are just so close to a working group covering a very specific topic” adds Ribaudo.
Each session lasts approximately 45-50 minutes. As of today, listed series are:
- CapEx and cost budgeting. Energy management and resources planning.
- Hotel planning and design
- New brands and new business models
- Emerging markets and destinations
- Contracts and the legal environment
- M&A, transactions and opportunities
- Branded residential
- Beyond hotels: alternative and outdoor opportunities
