ITA-Italian Trade Agency and Invitalia will be attending ITHIC 2025, at stand n° 25 on the Terrace level, as part of ‘Invest in Italy’, an agreement aimed at encouraging foreign investments in Italy.
Through Invest in Italy, which includes the ITA and Invitalia Agencies, the supervisory ministries MAECI and MIMIT, the Italian Government promotes investment opportunities and the Italian offer portfolio in all sectors (among which hospitality sector plays an important role) and supports investors throughout the investment life cycle. Therefore, ITA and Invitalia work in close cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, local and regional administrations, and other public and private institutions.
Investinitalyrealestate.com, an institutional showcase created in 2016 dedicated to the Real Estate sector, will have a page dedicated to ITHIC again this year. The aim is to present investment opportunities in public properties, or from public-owned or public-private-owned companies, to potential foreign investors. It currently features around 400 properties, proposed for sale or under long-term concession. The portal, developed by ITA on the instructions of the italian Government, is a virtual tool that promotes the meeting between investment demand and real estate investment opportunities in Italy selected in terms of location, type and size.
Along with the portal, there will also be an opportunity to illustrate to interested foreign investors the support services dedicated to companies that Invitalia offers, such as asset and location scouting, the provision of investment-related incentives, and all the accompanying services needed to bring investment transactions to a successful conclusion.

Scafati (Salerno) – Royal Bourbon Explosives Factory – Pompei
The property, known as the Royal Bourbon Explosives Factory, is located in the municipality of Scafati, in the province of Salerno. The property, of historical interest, has been protected since 1997 and is located on the border with the municipality of Pompeii, in a strategic position along the A-3 motorway and the railway. The area, which extends for approximately 16 hectares, includes an exquisite park, historic buildings and pavilions, administrative buildings, refineries, and warehouses. Since 2021, the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, which has government use of the asset, has begun restoration and remediation works.
Vaglia (Florence) – Former Banti Sanatorium
Large real estate property, known as the former Banti Sanatorium, built in 1939, located in the municipality of Vaglia, included in the territory of the Metropolitan City of Florence. The property is located in Pratolino, a hilly area at about 500 meters above sea level. The property covers a total gross area of approximately 13,000 sqm, with an appurtenant territorial area of more than 40,000 sqm.
Mestre (Venice) – Railway station area
The project area comprises an area of 2,000 m² included in the Mestre railway station, with a direct access on one side to the platform and to the other to the taxi drop off. Building capacity on this area of land is 10,000 m² of GLA, use admitted: commercial, offices, tourist accomodation, public and private service. This real estate project is of sure interest, given the high residential density of the area, which is the most densely populated in the city of Venice.
