Vito Bisceglie is Head of the Real Estate & Planning group and a member of the M&A team at Bip Law & Tax, the law firm of the BIP group. He was previously a partner at leading Italian and international law firms.
He assists leading Italian asset management companies, domestic and foreign institutional investors, private equity funds, corporates and entrepreneurs in complex investment and divestment, acquisition and disposal, and financing transactions, including through innovative financial structures and instruments.
In this area, he has developed specific expertise in transactions involving AIFs and other investment vehicles, coordinating the multidisciplinary teams involved and overseeing every stage of the project, from structuring the deal and setting up the vehicle to negotiating and executing the related agreements.
He has significant experience in transactions involving real estate assets, businesses and companies in the hospitality sector (hotels, student housing and new residential formats) as well as in the healthcare sector. In these areas, he has advised on the legal aspects of some of the most high-profile transactions completed in Italy in recent years, assisting clients with investments, acquisitions, restructurings and reorganisations, as well as with the regulatory framework applicable to the entities concerned and their core activities.
