Valeriano Antonioli is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and a member of the Board of Directors of Lungarno Collection, the hotel management company owned by the Ferragamo family.
With over thirty years of experience leading luxury hotels and resorts in Italy, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, Antonioli is a veteran of the hospitality industry. His career has consistently been driven by a passion for luxury and innovation, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to reinvent traditional properties, transforming them into vibrant lifestyle destinations perfectly aligned with the fashion system.
His most recent success story is the creation of the Portrait Hotels and Resorts brand, with multiple award-winning hotels in Rome, Florence, and Milan. Through Portrait, he redefined the standard luxury hotel uniform into a model of spontaneous personalization, filling a significant gap in the high-end hospitality sector.
Antonioli is a black belt in Taekwondo, an outdoor sports enthusiast, and the author of Passione e Cucina and The Joy of Discovery. Fluent in Italian, English, and German, he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic as a Knight (Cavaliere della Repubblica Italiana) in 2007.
