Theodor is currently at Arbireo Capital playing a pivotal role in establishing the Hospitality Asset Class and steering the Fund Raising for the Hotel Fund. With a twelve-year tenure at Union Investment Real Estate, Theodor successfully oversaw the acquisition of over €2 billion in hotels across Europe and the USA. His expertise extends to crafting a structured Hospitality Asset Management approach.
Prior to his corporate ventures, Theodor laid a solid foundation by actively participating in the development and operation of hotels. His diverse roles included serving as a General Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing, and Rooms Division Manager at both Asset and Head Office levels, spanning three continents. Notably, Theodor is a Co-Founder of HAMA Europe, actively contributing to hospitality think tanks, with a recent focus on ESG and EU-Taxonomy. His commitment to education is evident through guest lectures at universities in Austria, Germany, and China. Additionally, Theodor has co-authored two insightful books.
