Nicolas Capelle

Vice President Development and Asset Management – Meininger Hotels

Nicolas joined MEININGER Hotels in September 2015 and has been instrumental in expanding MEININGER’s footprint from 16 to 30 hotels by 2021, as well as expanding geographic reach. During the pandemic, Nicolas and his team expanded their mandate to include Resource Management, helping the company interact more effectively with owners.

Prior to working at MEININGER Hotels, Nicolas worked for Motel One where he developed their hotels in the France and Benelux markets. Prior to that, he worked for PKF hotelexperts, a consulting firm specializing in hotel development, feasibility studies, and operator research. He also worked several years in operations with Hilton Hotels. Nicolas has a degree in business administration from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and an MBA in Hospitality Administration from Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne.
