Biography

After graduating from the École Normale Supérieure, Sciences Po Paris and the École Nationale d’Administration (ENA), Maud Bailly began her career at the General Inspectorate of Finance. In 2011, she joined the SNCF, where she became Director of Montparnasse Station, before moving to the office of Prime Minister Manuel Valls to take up the role of Head of the Economic and Digital Division. In April 2017, she joined Accor, where she was appointed Chief Digital Officer and member of the Executive Committee, with responsibility for Digital, Data, Information Systems, Distribution, Sales and Customer Experience. In October 2020, Maud became Managing Director of the “Southern Europe” Hub, with the remit to operate and develop the Group’s business in France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Malta and Israel. As a member of the Executive Committee, she was responsible for both operational performance and the quality of customer and partner relations in this strategic region, which comprises nearly 1,900 hotels. Finally, in January 2023, she was appointed Managing Director of Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems, overseeing nearly 250 hotels, and joined the Group’s Luxury & Lifestyle Executive Committee.
