Marcello Mangia

President & CEO – Mangia’s

Marcello Mangia, born in 1963, has held numerous roles at Aeroviaggi – Mangia’s since 1982, becoming President and CEO of the group in 2019. He leads the company with a focus on innovation and sustainable development.

Since the early years of his presidency, he has spearheaded an evolutionary process for the company, initiating the rebranding of the hospitality division as Mangia’s Resorts & Hotels. He has also consolidated the activities of the group’s general contractor, MBuild It, and the incoming department, recently launching the digital tour operator MDestinations.

Since 2020, he has served on the UniCredit Sicily Advisory Board and is a member of the board of directors of Confindustria Sicily. In his free time, he is dedicated to his four children and to endurance sports—including triathlon, trail running, marathons, and open-water swimming—which he practices alongside his wife, Leila.
