Biography

Giorgio Bianchi is an expert in the tourism, hospitality and investment sector with around thirty years of experience in management and consulting in this field. In recent years, he has supervised numerous consulting, business development and market research projects.
He began his career as General Manager and Partner at the PKF Hospitality group and currently holds the position of Global Business Developer. Before joining PKF, he was founder and CEO of R&D Hospitality for ten years. At R&D, he provided consulting services for investment projects in the tourism sector in Italy and abroad on behalf of major clients, including hotel groups, public and private investors, companies and financial groups. He founded and directed the 196+ Milan forum, the leading hospitality conference in Italy and Europe focused on tourism, investment and design. He currently serves as a business developer and is responsible for finding partners and sponsors.
From an educational perspective, he is a Bocconi Academic Fellow, where he teaches a course in general hospitality management. He is a guest lecturer at international universities and author of various reports and publications for the hospitality industry. He is a member of RICS.
He graduated in Communication and Marketing from IULM University and subsequently obtained an executive training certificate from Cornell University School of Hotel Administration in New York.
