Biography

Giampaolo is a Board Member of Coldwell Banker Commercial Italy. Known simply as Giampa, over his 25-year career he has moved between executive management and advisory roles, developing a broad perspective across real estate, hospitality, NPLs and legal services.
He began his career as a corporate finance attorney, admitted both to the New York Bar and to practice in Italy, before transitioning into top management roles on both the asset management and investment sides, working with opportunistic and institutional investors alike.
Giampa currently serves also as CEO of Demosthenes, the first Italian virtual law firm; as Board Member of EHMA Hotel Management Ltd, a company specialized in hotel operations and repositioning; as Board Member of Viride Group; and as Vice President of Cavese 1919, a football club in Italy’s third division.
In the past, he was Head of Real Estate at Intrum Italy and priorly he headed the Proprietary Operations (>€14 billion AuM). Before that, Giampa was Deputy CEO of Aquileia Capital Services, the Italian platform of Bain Capital Credit, while also serving as CEO of a subsidiary managing distressed hotels and Managing Director of several ReoCos specialized in foreclosure auction strategies.
Earlier in his career, he was COO Italy of the Heta Asset Resolution Group, the Austrian state-owned bad bank created from the bailout of Hypo Alpe Adria Group.
He started his career as tax advisor at Ernst&Young before transitioning to M&A and Finance at Shearman&Sterling and Freshfileds.
