A graduate HEC (MBA), Gaël Le Lay began his career within the Accor group in 1995, first as Internal Audit Manager, before taking on the role of Project Director for the Head of Investments. In 2006, he ran the hotels investments within Axa Real Estate. Gaël Le Lay joined Covivio Hotels in 2013 as Deputy CEO in charge of investments and asset management.
In 2021, he co-founded Petra – Hova Hospitality. The company is running a portfolio of €2,4 b asset under management with main investors such as Praemia , wholly owned subsidiary of ADIA among others.
