Biography

Francesco is an experienced Head of Hospitality with a demonstrated history of working in the real estate finance and hotel sector.

Francesco is expert in investment properties, negotiations, feasibility studies, operator selection, commercial due diligence, financial valuations.

Francesco is currently based in Milan and he covers the role of International Partner, Member of the Advisory Board and Head of the Hospitality team at Cushman & Wakefield.

Francesco has 26 years of experience as a strategic advisor in the hospitality sector, advising investors, banks and operators in maximizing their real estate value during the whole investment lifetime (from the acquisition, to financing requirements, therefore development, operations and divesting).

Francesco’s capabilities cover the following asset classes in hospitality: hotels, resorts, hostels, private members clubs, glampings, branded residential projects, marinas, golf courses, SPAs, sport facilities, beach clubs, mixed use schemes.

Francesco joined Cushman & Wakefield in September 2024 from CBRE where he was Executive Director and member of the Board of Directors for 10 years. Prior to this, he spent 6 years already at Cushman & Wakefield, having worked for the previous 9 years at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte, in the accounting audit and consulting team for investment and M&A transactions.

Francesco is also registered Member at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and certified real estate broker at the Chamber of Commerce of Milan.

In 2022 Francesco successfully completed the 2-month training at the Cambridge University in “Sustainable Real Estate: Creating a Better Built Environment”, becoming an expert real estate advisor in sustainability.
