Co-CEO & Asset Director – Starhotels Group

With thirty years of experience, Fabrizio Gaggio has been Co-CEO & Asset Director of Starhotels SpA since March 2024. Starhotels is Italy’s leading private hotel group in terms of turnover and a leader in the upscale, upper-upscale, and luxury segments, with 31 hotels located in the heart of Italy’s best destinations, as well as in London, Paris, and New York, for a total of over 4,300 rooms. Prior to this position, he served as Managing Director of UNA Italian Hospitality (7 years) – created from the merger of Atahotels and UNA Hotels & Resorts under the control of the UNIPOL Group – with 58 5- and 4-star hotels, resorts, and residences for a total of over 6,000 rooms. Previously, he held senior positions in various hospitality companies. In particular: Senior Vice President of Global Asset Management at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels (four years), owner of 110 five- and four-star hotels; Managing Director of Starhotels (four years); CEO of Lungarno Collection of the Ferragamo group (12 years); and Financial Director of Forte Trusthouse Hotel (three years) for the Italian holding company.
