Ezio Romani founded Amapa Group in 1998 with Enzo Carboni, backed by twenty years of experience in the sector. From 1986 to 1998, they served as General Manager and Managing Director, respectively, of Gestitur Ltd—one of Italy’s major players in hotel management. At the time, Gestitur’s portfolio included the Pugnochiuso Vacation Centre in Vieste (Apulia), the Roccaruja Vacation Centre in Stintino (Sardinia), the Borca di Cadore Vacation Centre near Cortina (Veneto), the Free Beach Club Village in Costa Rei (Sardinia), and the Baia Chia Village in Chia (Sardinia), totaling over 9,000 beds and a workforce of 1,500 employees and freelancers.
