Corrado Peraboni

Biography

Corrado Peraboni, graduated in Law from the University of Milan in 1989, boasts extensive experience in the exhibition sector. He was President of UFI (Global Association of the Exhibition Industry), representing all members of the exhibition sector in over 90 countries. From 2015 to January 2017, he held the role of Chief Executive Officer of Fiera Milano Spa. From 2001 to 2014, he was Vice President of the European Chapter UFI. From 2004 to 2008, he assumed the role of President of the European Chapter UFI and, at the same time, International Vice President of UFI.

From 2000 to 2015, he assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of Fondazione Fiera Milano, managing the launch of the new expo centre. He was a member of the General Council and the Executive Committee of the Ente Autonomo Fiera Internazionale di Milano (1996-1999). In the Fiera Milano group, he held the role of Chairman and CEO of Edizioni Fiera Milano Spa (publishing), owned by Fiera Milano and Elemond (1997-2000). He was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rassegne Spa, a company operating in the exhibition organization sector (1998-2000). He was on the board of directors of Villa Erba Spa (2001-2014). He held the position of Sole Managing Director of Quartiere Fiera S.r.l. (2003-2012). He was a member of the Board of Directors of Fiera Milano International Spa, owned by Fieramilano and Reed Exhibitions (2003-2007). He was CEO of Expo CTS (2007-2009), a company organizing fashion, horeca, and travel events.

Among Peraboni’s other professional roles, from 1997 to 1998, General Secretary of IPAB – Asilo Mariuccia, a social assistance institute for minors in difficulty. From 2001 to 2002, he was Vice President of the Italian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce. From 2012 to 2015, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Arexpo Spa, the company established by the Lombardy Region (Lombardy Regional Authority), Municipality of Milan (Municipality of Milan), Fondazione Fiera Milano, Municipality of Rho (Rho Municipality), and Province of Milan (Provincial Government of Milan) for the acquisition of the areas, the redevelopment, and the enhancement of the Expo 2015 site.

Since January 1, 2020, he has been the Chief Executive Officer of Italian Exhibition Group S.p.A.
