Claudio Capaccioli

Head of Asset Management – Petra

Originally from Italy, Claudio Capaccioli has extensive experience in the hospitality sector.

As of January 2026, Claudio has been appointed as the Head of Asset Management at Petra. Previously, starting in 2018, he led H Hotels & Resorts Management (later renamed STORY Hospitality). His responsibilities included overseeing the property portfolio and the group’s development, with a focus on the Middle East, Europe, and some African countries.

Prior to this role, Capaccioli spent 11 years with NH Hotel Group in Madrid, where he held the position of Senior VP of Development and was responsible for the company’s global development. He also worked for other significant companies such as Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Andersen / Deloitte & Touche, and Costa Cruises.

His education includes a degree in Business Administration from the University of Perugia, an MBA from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration in the United States, and an Advanced Management Programme from the IESE Business School in Spain.
