Andrea Abodi

Andrea Abodi is the Minister for Sport and Youth in the Meloni government. A graduate of LUISS University in economics and business, he specializes in industrial sports management and the development of sports marketing activities. He began his managerial career in 1987 and was president of the Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie B (National Professional League Serie B) and federal councilor of the FIGC (Italian Football Federation) from July 20, 2010, to March 6, 2017. On October 16, 2017, he was appointed President of the Institute for Sports Credit. On October 22, 2022, he was sworn in by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
