Country General Manager for Italy, France and Hungary – Leonardo Hotels

Raphael Carmon has a long and diverse experience in the hospitality industry with over 25 years of managerial management in 4 and 5 star luxury facilities in various foreign countries. Currently he holds the role of Raphael Carmon – Country General Manager Italy, France and Hungary at Leonardo Hotels.
Since 2009, Carmon has held several senior positions within the Fattal Group, culminating in his current role as Country General Manager for Italy. During his tenure, he successfully oversaw the opening of new hotels, including the latest addition, the Leonardo Hotel on Lake Garda – Lazise. He ensured the operational success of these ventures, maintaining the brand’s quality standards, overseeing staff expansion, and implementing strategic business initiatives to drive success. Notably, he spearheaded the implementation of a new concept in Food & Beverage services, emphasizing unique culinary experiences for guests. Additionally, he established a robust network of local contacts with authorities and chambers of commerce, contributing to the regional promotion of the Leonardo brand.
Prior to his current role, Carmon held General Manager positions at prestigious international hotels such as the Sheraton Zagreb Hotel in Croatia and the Sheraton Moriah Tel Aviv in Israel. He also served as Regional General Manager in Starwood and Sheraton in Israel.

Mr. Carmon is a graduate of Hotel management in Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He has also completed specialized training programs in Food & Beverage services at Dan Hotels in Israel and Johnson and Wales University.
With his extensive experience in the luxury hotel industry and a proven track record of delivering tangible results, Raphael Carmon continues to lead Leonardo Hotels towards success in Italy, France, and Hungary.
