Nicola Cortese is most well known for his time as Executive Chairman of England’s Southampton Football Club and the fairy-tale success that he achieved there from both a branding and a business viewpoint.

Nicola started his career in banking, in Switzerland. He focussed on wealth management for UHNWIs, especially for prominent clients. He also concluded notable M&A transactions within the Sports Business.

In 2019 he decided to undertake a large investment in actively developing a luxury Resort in Apulia, Italy. The development is now at final planning stage, and he is hands-on as a major shareholder and CEO.

He has attracted impressive and highly-regarded architects and designers as well as high profile consultants. He is confident that the Resort has all the elements that will genuinely set globally-recognized standards in ambience and design, services and service delivery, and timeless culture for today’s luxury world. It will create a completely new level of customer experience.
