Born in 1974 in Pordenone, Matteo Zoppas graduated in Business Economics at the Luigi Bocconi University in Milan, and later obtained two Masters degrees at CUOA, in Lean Manufacturing and in Business Administration.

An analyst at Mediobanca’s Equity Office from 2002 to 2003, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Operation Smile Italia and was a member of the Central Council of Confindustria in Italy.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of Acqua Minerale San Benedetto SpA. Elected President of Confindustria Venezia in 2013, from May 2015 he was President of Confindustria Venezia Area Metropolitana di Venezia e Rovigo and then, from 2017 to 2019 President of Confindustria Veneto.
