Senior Managing Director & Country Head – Hines Italy

Mario Abbadessa began his career at Hines in 2010, and in 2016 he assumed the role of Managing Director & Country Head of Hines Italy, becoming responsible for all the group’s activities in Italy. In March 2019, at the age of 35, he was appointed Senior Managing Director of Hines Italy by the Hines Global Board, making him the youngest manager in the group to achieve this milestone internationally. Mario Abbadessa earned a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University and a Master of Science in Finance with elective courses in Real Estate Finance from the University of Amsterdam.

Since 2016, under Mario Abbadessa’s leadership, Hines has completed real estate investments totaling approximately 7 billion euros in Milan, Florence, and the northern Italy area, building a team of about 90 professionals.
