MD, Head of Hotels Europe – CBRE

Kenneth leads the CBRE Hotels team across Europe, co-ordinating for the benefit of clients the strength of deep, local-market expertise with CBRE’s global capital markets practice, as well as the pan-European valuation and advisory specialists.  His role is to ensure that our hotel clients draw on privileged access to the global, multi-channel platform that comprises the largest real estate advisory services and investment firm in the world.

Kenneth joined CBRE from Belmond where he was head of global development and the group’s general counsel, leading both development and legal functions across a 46-asset global portfolio comprised of luxury hotels, trains and cruises, with 2019 revenue of approximately $600m.

Previously, as SVP Corporate Transactions Group at Hyatt International Kenneth held responsibility for portfolio asset management transactions for Hyatt across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

Kenneth started his career as a lawyer, with public and private M&A experience in New York and Europe, and subsequently led the launch of the European operations of the Chambers No. 1-ranked hospitality-law practice at Sonnenschein, now Dentons.

Kenneth holds an LL.B. from Trinity College Dublin and an MBA from each of Columbia Business School and London Business School.
