Emanuela Molinaro is a partner of Simmons & Simmons and co-head of the Italian Real Estate practice. She has extensive experience in Real Estate transactions and construction law, where she acts on behalf of a range of domestic and international investors, developers, corporations, financial institutions, and asset management companies in connection with property developments and property transactions involving commercial, residential, hotel and industrial assets. Emanuela regularly works on transactions involving assets owned by distressed companies, carried out in pre-insolvency or bankruptcy procedures. Former member of the Board of Directors of M4 S.p.A. (the company managing the new M4 underground line in Milan connecting the city to Linate Airport) from 2015 until 2022 and former member of the Advisory Committee of the closed-end Real Estate investment fund “Mascagni” managed by Generali Italia Immobiliare S.g.r. Considering the extensive expertise in ESG transactional investments and regulatory/compliance issues, Emanuela has also been invited as speakers at various conferences, including the ULI Europe Conference – Logistic Product Council in June 2024, on the decarbonization of the real estate sector in light of the newly adopted Energy Performance of Buildings Directive.
