Travelodge, a leading UK hotel operator, recently announced an ambitious expansion plan for their company.
The goal consists in the addition of 17 new properties to the portfolio, which will be directly managed. Third-party investors are supporting the expansion of the group, financing the development with a planned investment of GBP 175 million.
Travelodge Plus (budget-economy segment) is the Travelodge brand experiencing the most rapid expansion, together with the brand “SuperRoom”.
The group’s expansion plans do not include any developments on Italian soil, where the budget-economy segment is still limited to the management of a few, large, specialized foreign operators.
