In 2000 he was a founding member of Assotour and Assotravel and member of the board of the Italian Association of Hotel Chains and ASTOI. In 2012 he was elected President of the Italian Association of Confindustria Hotels and Vice President of the National Bilateral Tourism Board of Confindustria, becoming its President in 2016 and a member of the executive council of the Bilateral Tourist Board of the Veneto region. In 2015 he was co-opted by the Confindustria General Council for the 2015/2017 two-year period and is a member of Confindustria's Internationalization and Enterprise Networks Committees.
In 2016 at the birth of the National Convention Bureau, he joined the Board of Directors; he is elected Vice President of Federturismo of Confindustria and member of the Presidential Committee. He sits on the Advisory Board of the International Hotel Investment Forum in Berlin, taking part in the birth of the virtual brand Italia Hospitality.
From 1981 to 1989 he was Accounting / Administrative Manager at Viskase Italia. In 1989 he worked at the Italian branch of Club Mediterranee as Administrative Manager and then became Director of Administration / Finance and Control. Since 1999 he has been Director General of Villaggi Italia and Legal Representative of the Italian branch, in 2003 he added the operational responsibility of the Croatian branch. In 2004 he was General Manager for Italy and Eastern Club Med with responsibility for marketing Club Med resorts in the world in Italy and joining the Europe General Management Committee. In 2005 he assumed operational responsibility for the Swiss branch. In 2010 he was hired as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Hotelturist SpA hotel chain operating in Italy under the TH Resorts brand.
In 2018 he left the position remaining in the BoD of the parent company Hotelturist Spa.
In January 2019 he was appointed by the Council of Ministers President of the National Tourism Agency ENIT for the next three years.
