Giacomo Morri (Ph.D. & MRICS) is Professor of Real Estate Finance at Bocconi University and Associate Professor of Practice of Corporate Finance and Real Estate at SDA Bocconi School of Management, where he is also Corporate Finance and Real Estate Faculty Deputy.
At Bocconi University he is also a lecturer in Corporate Finance at the Master in Tourism Economics. At SDA Bocconi he was responsible for the Real Estate Pathway for executives and director of the Master in Real Estate and the Executive Master in Corporate Finance & Banking.
After graduating in Business Administration from Bocconi University, he obtained a PhD in Business Finance from the University of Trieste. He has been visiting researcher at Cass Business School, City University London and at the University of Reading, visiting professor at the MBA in Hospitality Management IMHI – ESSEC Business School and Master in Real Estate Management and Valorisation – ISEG University of Lisbon.
He is a consultant and director for real estate companies, an independent director at UnipolSai Investimenti SGR and is on the advisory committee of reserved real estate funds. Chartered accountant and auditor, he is an expert in real estate valuations and technical opinions in civil and criminal cases relating to real estate finance.
He is past president and board member of the European Real Estate Society and participates in the editorial advisory boards of the “Journal of European Real Estate Research” and of “Territorio Italia”. Member & assessor of the professional association RICS and member of the Italian board of the Urban Land Institute; in the Bocconi Alumni Community he is the referent for the faculty of the Topic Corporate Finance & Real Estate.
Author of numerous scientific and popular publications on real estate finance, portfolio management, real estate funds and real estate valuation.
