57 years old, a degree in economics and business from Bocconi University, Casati has gained his managerial experience in Italy and abroad, first for the American group 3M with positions in the marketing sphere in Italy, the USA and Europe and then, in starting from 1994, for the Campari Group. For Campari, Enzo held the role of Managing Director for the international part of the business with development and acquisition experiences in the major continents. He lived for 21 years abroad between the USA, France and Australia.
Back in Italy he decided to focus on Italian hospitality and, after attending an Executive Master on the management of hotel chains at SDA Bocconi, he became Managing Director for the Starhotels chain. At Starhotels and in concert with the owner, Enzo has defined a multi-year plan that has led to a strong corporate evolution through the achievement of substantial organic growth and the acquisition of the Royal Demeure assets, an acquisition that has in fact repositioned and legitimized the belonging to Starhotels in the Luxury segment.
Casati is currently a member of the Starhotels Board of Directors.
