Camil Yazbeck is Senior Vice President, Head of Development of Accor Europe.

Camil is responsible for the development and expansion of all of Accor’s brands throughout Europe, working closely with investors, owners and partners and leading the development teams to increase Accor’s market share of new deal signings in Europe.
Prior to joining Accor, Camil was Partner and Investment Director – Hospitality & Leisure at Patron Capital, a leading Pan-European private equity real estate investor representing approximately €4.0 billion of equity across several funds and related investments including 60+ multi-branded hotels throughout Europe. Camil led all aspects of origination, acquisition, underwriting, execution and asset management of Hospitality related investments
Camil spent over 20 years in the hospitality industry, focusing on all aspects of hotel management in a variety of roles throughout the world. He held several senior leadership positions with international hotel companies, including Group Operations Director, Group & Area General Manager. He acquired extensive experience moving up the ranks in hotel management, in pre-openings as well as the extended stay market, within independent and branded hotels including Le Meridien, Sheraton, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Mercure, Best Western, The Ascott Group, Citadines and Staybridge Suites…
Camil earned several industry awards including Excellence in Tourism & Hotel of the year, Best GM, Best Team, top customer satisfaction and outstanding service, highest revenue & profit growth, Best hotels in 3 consecutive years and shortlisted at the UK’s Catey’s awards.
Camil earned his MBA from IMHI – Cornell University and ESSEC School of Management, and his French Diploma in Hotel Management from the Lycée Hôtelier Château Bellerive (Grenoble Academy, France).
